Good results for PALUX at the 4th Igersheim Company Run 2019
Also in this year our PALUX team started with 29 employees at the 4th Igersheim Company Run. Of these, 22 colleagues were registered in the discipline "running" and 7 employees in the competition "Nordic-Walking".
On 10.07.2019, from 7 p.m. at a pleasant 24 °C, the 1,300 starters set off on the 5.1 kilometre route through Igersheim. The best runner of the day crossed the finish line with a best time of only 17 minutes and 19 seconds. Our PALUX runners were also successful: among the top 50 were three of our colleagues. Timo Beck fought his way to 15th place in 19 minutes and 35 seconds. Niels Kregel and Valerian Repp also reached the finish line in less than 21 minutes. Among our female runners Christina Kaiser did particularly well with 28 minutes and 19 seconds, she reached 4th place in her age group.
In the Nordic-Walking discipline we could once again rely on our winner Cornelia Lindner. As in previous years, she secured first place among the female walkers – this year with a time of 37 minutes and 39 seconds.
And also our two board members successfully put on their running shoes: In the running competition Dr. Hilmar Rudloff achieved an excellent time of 28 minutes and 21 seconds and finished 7th in his age group. His fellow board member Torsten Hehner also achieved the same ranking – but in the Nordic Walking discipline with a time of 39 minutes and 54 seconds.
For PALUX, the 2019 edition of the Igersheim Company Run was almost under the sign of the number 7, because also in the male team ranking, the 7th place was achieved. The PALUX women took the 22nd place in the female team ranking, in the mixed ranking the 21st place was reached.
The reward for the efforts and athletic achievements was then given at our PALUX barbecue stand: our application consultants Marketa Schellenberg and Stefan Dobrecht had prepared tasty refreshments for our finishers. In a relaxed atmosphere our team analysed this year's race again and celebrated the achieved results.
