Competition Kreative Köpfe 2021

Due to the Corona pandemic, the award ceremony of the "Kreative Köpfe" could be held after almost two years of competition.

As early as September 2019, 76 ideas were submitted. At the end of June, in 16 teams, 29 students presented their inventions online with detail camera and large screen in front of the jury. This year, the award ceremonies were also not held in the Wandelhalle as usual, but decentralised in the respective schools.

Anna-Katharina Wittenstein, Chairwoman of the Board of the Young Creative Minds Foundation, was online during the presentation of the overall prizes and thanked all those involved. Lord Mayor Udo Glatthaar and Ursula Mühleck, Head of the Department for District Development and Education, were also impressed by the inventive spirit.

The prize winners with support from PALUX AG:

Alisa Fitzgerald (17 years, Gewerbliche Schule Bad Mergentheim (+ technical and information technology high school)) received the 3rd place of the overall prize with the "Campbox for the VW Caddy Maxi". An aluminium bed frame that can be quickly installed and removed. (The project was implemented by PALUX AG together with Würth Industrie Service GmbH & Co. KG).

"Spontaneous and inexpensive holidays - the Campbox makes it possible. [...] With your low-budget camper conversion for the Caddy, you have created an affordable alternative to common campers [...]."

Maximilian Mutsch and Lasse Siegismund (13 years old, Deutschordens-Gymnasium Bad Mergentheim) won second place in the innovation and creativity category. The "Klappkarre", a wheelbarrow that makes it easier to fill and empty.

"Not only hobby gardeners will love your "Klappkarre", that's for sure. [...] It makes gardening easy and even jury members enjoy it. [...]

In the discipline of marketability, Max Müller and Luca Lehmeier (14 years, Weikersheim Community School) won first place with their automatic hand truck lift. An automatic sack truck lift was developed from an existing sack truck.

"Instead of lifting heavy sacks, your innovative and stable sack truck lift should be used in the future. Through the well thought-out implementation, you have cleverly solved an everyday problem."

In the same discipline, Cedric Weber and Mira Roth (15 years old, Gymnasium Weikersheim) won second place with their "BBQ sauce dispenser".
A sauce dispenser based on the principle of a soap dispenser. (The project was implemented by PALUX AG together with Wittenstein SE).

"The next barbecue party is saved. [...] You have already developed the first marketing and spare parts strategies for this, with which you can certainly score points in sales later on. In addition, your product makes an important contribution to reducing plastic waste, as it is designed exclusively for glass bottles. [...]"

Many thanks to all participants and winners for their interesting and imaginative inventions.
