Review of the resumption of trade fair operations – preview of the digital Gastro Circle in Salzburg
After eight long months without trade fairs and exhibition shows, two events have finally taken place again in the last few weeks. We exhibited at "ISS GUT! SPEZIAL" in Leipzig and "GTW Summit" in Essen with a small but nice stand.
Both events took place on a smaller scale in accordance with the statutory Corona regulations. In addition, the organisers also set up appropriate hygiene concepts which had to be complied with.
The "ISS GUT! SPEZIAL" took place at the beginning of October as an unscheduled meeting for the hospitality and event industry in the Congress Center Leipzig. In Essen, instead of the planned "GastroTageWest", the organiser offered the congress fair "GTW Summit" for the hospitality industry with an exciting programme in the Grand Hall Zollverein on 11 and 12 October 2020. Both in Essen and Leipzig the focus was on the current challenges and burning issues of the HoReCa industry.
Our PALUX team also enjoyed the communicative exchange of ideas and perspectives and the presentation of innovative solutions. We hope that more trade fairs will take place in the near future – even if it will probably be on a smaller scale than before the Corona pandemic.
Looking forward
Since the Salzburg trade fair "Alles für den Gast" cannot take place this year as a presence event, the trade fair organiser has decided to initiate a digital event. The new "Gastro Circle" will take place completely online from 7. to 9. November 2020. We from PALUX will also be participating! Therefore, it is best to make a note of the date now – further information will follow shortly before the event on our social media channels. So be sure to follow us there.
