With the vision of combining restaurant, event location and wine bar, the Vineria opened its doors in May 2002 to welcome numerous wine lovers and guests with an enthusiasm for Mediterranean cuisine.

Since 1995, the trained sommelier Peter G. Rock has been collecting a wide variety of wines from all over the world on his wine tours, which are now presented in the Vineria in an excellent way to be admired and tasted. With his vast knowledge, the wine expert scores points with all his guests, as well as in the big TV cooking show "Mein Lokal, Dein Lokal", where Peter G. Rock and his team present grandiose dishes.

Dishes from the Mediterranean gourmet manufactory, which are always fresh, seasonal, regional and prepared without colourings or preservatives. The owner and manager attaches great importance to this. His meat also comes from the region, because Rock runs his own cattle farm, from which the high-quality meat is exclusively sourced.

All ingredients are then prepared traditionally and with love by his team of eight chefs from all corners of the world, such as Portugal, Sardinia, Pakistan, Greece, Syria, China and Ethiopia. The Vineria in Nuremberg unites a total of 14 nations and this is also reflected in the dishes.

The Vineria is equipped with one of our PALUX Topline kitchens, whose design and functionality meet the latest findings in terms of technology, work ergonomics, hygiene and organisation.

There is also a PALUX Topline Vario cooker and a PALUX Topline steak grill. The latter is perfect for the short-fried Mediterranean specialities, because whether fish, meat or vegetables - "everything has to be perfect to the point", says Peter G. Rock, "because nothing is pre-produced in this kitchen". The core of the kitchen is the PALUX Topline induction cooker, which offers maximum productivity and time savings in addition to its performance and flexibility of use. Furthermore, two of our PALUX Touch 'n' Steam combi steamers are in use, which make the chefs' daily work easier with individual cooking options. Rounded off by a PALUX Salamander Variolift C, which can gratinate, gratinate and keep warm with its automatic plate recognition, this large kitchen leaves nothing to be desired.

There is also a lot of heart and soul in the service. With his wife Meike Rock and his staff, some of whom have been at his side for over 17 years, Rock creates a unique place to feel good and be pampered.

Through years of experience and outstanding expertise, he also offers his customers a wine accompaniment on request, in which the perfectly matched wine is served with the dish, so that both can then be enjoyed in harmony.
