Bürkert Fluid Control Systems is one of the world's leading manufacturers of measurement and control systems for liquids and gases. In the Bürkert company restaurant at the headquarters in Ingelfingen, PALUX kitchen equipment is used.

The Bürkert company was founded in 1946 and is still 100% family-owned today. With 36 branches worldwide, Bürkert has more than 3.300 employees, 2.100 of them in Germany alone. The company headquarters are located in Ingelfingen in the Hohenlohe district. There, the Bürkert staff can enjoy their lunch break in a 600 m² company restaurant with a fantastic view over the Kocher Valley and indulge in culinary delights.

In mid-2017, the existing canteen was selectively renovated. In addition to a professional kitchen with a PALUX dishwasher GSC 700 and PALUX glass dishwasher GLE, stainless steel furniture from the PALUX Ecoline series was also integrated into the existing concept. In the kitchen, two PALUX Touch ‘n‘ Steam Combi-Duo-Stations 611 QL, each consisting of two PALUX combi steamers, were added to the existing thermal appliances. After only a nine-week conversion period, the company canteen was reopened for Bürkert employees.

Dietrich Klonk, project coordinator at Bürkert, was also very pleased with the quick and uncomplicated implementation:

“As a competent and technically highly qualified partner from the region, PALUX made a smooth-running renovation of the kitchen possible. It was great fun to see how the work went on every day. Due to the good coordination it was possible to reopen the canteen after only 9 weeks. Especially the direct communication with the responsible PALUX regional sales manager as well as the PALUX Contract Manager – verbally on site or briefly by telephone – definitely led to this success.”

Thanks to the modernisation, the external catering service provider – Genuss & Harmonie Holding GmbH from Mannheim – has since been able to distribute over 160 meals a day without any problems. The preparation and cooking is at least partly based on the principle of time-shifted production and can be easily mastered with the powerful PALUX combi steamers. The kitchen team offers its guests a wide range of dishes: Bürkert employees can choose between soups, various starters, a salad buffet, two dishes of the day – one of them vegetarian – and a dish from the live cooking menu as well as delicious desserts. This ensures a healthy and balanced diet for Bürkert's staff.
